미국 상원 회기 개회식에 드려진 기도입니다.

미국뿐아니라 우리의 영적 현주소를 고백하는 내용으로 가슴을 치게 합니다.

Oh, Lord have pity on us!

"Thank you Trump. SAME SEX MARRIAGE..."
This interesting prayer was given in Kansas, USA, at the opening session of their Senate.

Itseems prayer still upsets some people.

When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate,

everyone was expecting the usual generalities,

but this is what they heard: "Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness

and to seek your direction and guidance.

We know Your Word says: "Woe to those who call evil good", but that is exactly what we have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.

We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism.

We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism.

We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.

We have abused power and called it politics.

We have embezzled public funds and called it essential expenses.

We have insitutionalised bribery and called it sweets of office.

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of ｅxpression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh GOD, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.

Amen!"

The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest.

In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev.

Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those callsresponding negatively.  The church is now receiving international requests for copies ofthis prayer from India, Africa and Korea.With the LORD'S help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and WHOLEHEARTEDLY become our desire so that we again can becalled onE NATION UNDER GOD.

"트럼프 감사하오, 동성결혼은..."
 이 놀라운 기도는 미국캔사스에서 있었던 상원 개회식에서  드려졌는데요

이 기도가 아직도 사람들을 흔들고 있는 것 같습니다.

조라이트 목사님이 캔사스상원 회의 개회사를 하도록 부탁받았을 때 모두들 일상적인 내용을 기대하고 있었습니다 . 그러나 그의 개회사는 다음과 같았습니다.

하늘의 하나님, 우리는 오늘 하나님의 용서를 원하고 인도하심을 구하기 위해 오늘 이곳에 왔습니다.
우리는 " 악을 선하다고 말하는 자는 화가있도다." 는 주의 말씀을  기억합니다.
그런데 우리가 바로 이 말씀대로 합니다. 우리는 영적인 균형을 잃고 가치관이 뒤집어졌습니다.
우리는 당신 말씀이 절대적 진리됨을 업신여겼습니다. 그러면서 다원주의라고 부릅니다.
다른 신들을 섬기면서 그것을 다문화주의라고 부릅니다.
우리는 진리를 왜곡하는 것을 눈감아 주며 이것을 또다른 라이프스타일이라고 부릅니다.
우리는 가난한 사람들의 것을 빼앗으면서  '로또당첨'이라고 부릅니다.
우리는 게으름을 보상하며 이것을 복지라고 부릅니다.
우리는 복중의 아기를 죽이며 이것을 부모의 선택이라고합니다
우리는 불법낙태 시술인을 연호하며 이것을 정당하다고  합니다
우리는 자녀를 훈련하고 가르치는데 소홀하며 이것을 자존감을 세우는 것이라고 부릅니다.
우리는 자녀들 인성교육을 소홀히 하며 이것을 그들의 자존감을 세우는 것이라고 불렀습니다. 

우리는 권력을 남용했습니다. 그러면서 그것이 정치라고 불렀습니다.

우리는 공금을 횡령했습니다. 그러면서 필수경비라고 말했습니다.
우리는 일상적으로 뇌물 받았습니다.그리고 이것을 "직위의 달콤함"이라고 불렀습니다.
우리는 다른 사람의 소유를 탐냈습니다. 그리고 이것을 야망이라고 불렀습니다.
우리는 경건치 않은 삶과 포르노로 우리의 환경을 더럽혔습니다. 그리고 그것을 표현의 자유라고 불렀습니다. 우리는 우리 조상들의 오랫동안 존중받은 가치들을 업신여겼습니다. 그리고 그것을 개화라고 했습니다.
오 하나님 우리를 살펴보소서. 이제 우리의 아십시요.

그리고 모든죄로부터 우리를 씻으시고, 우리를 자유롭게 해 주소서. 아멘. 

    

반응은 즉각적으로 나타났습니다. 많은 국회의원들이 항의하는 표현으로 기도중에 퇴장했습니다.

6주라는 짧은 기간동안에 라이트가 목사로 있는 중앙그리스도 교회는 47명의 부정적인 반응을 제외하고 5000이 넘는  지지 로인을 받았습니다. 지금 이 교회는 인도,아프리카, 그리고 한국으로부터 이 기도의 전문을 보내달라는 국제적인 요청을 받고있습니다.

주님의 도움으로 이 기도가 전국에 퍼지고, 진심으로 우리의 소원이 되어서 "하나님의 주권 아래 있는 나라"라고 불리기를 원합니다. 이 기도문을 다른여러분의 친구들과 공유해주시기 바랍 니다.
